Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz

Great place to stay with helpful, friendly staff and a fast and easy check in/check out system. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family. Particularly liked the spa; a well-presented, relaxing space with great saunas for only €5 per day for hotel guests - I wish I could visit every day! The Gym is also fine for a basic workout. The only notes I have are from the morning that I checked out: I did experience the shower issue (suddenly changing temperature considerably) that others have noted and also, housekeeping gave one very quick knock and immediately proceeded to unlock my door and let themselves in, allowing me (pretty much) no time to respond before they entered. Luckily, I was decent and just finishing getting ready at the mirror… but I could have been doing anything! A few more seconds should be allowed out of courtesy before barging in, whether there is a DND sign on the door or not (mine had been taken away a few days before). Also, breakfast (a fantastic buffet every other day!) was mostly being cleared away at 10am, when it’s meant to be served until 11. Maybe there was less food/fewer guests as this was just 3 days after Christmas day. As I’ve mentioned, these events all occurred on the final morning of a 4 night stay, so it didn’t ruin my experience as I had already made up my mind, but they did let things down just slightly. I’ll still (just about) leave 5 stars. Would love to visit again!

Stayed in a small single room. Nice size, but questionable fire routes. Shower was open in room. Ok if a single but perhaps not great in a twin or double with friends. Breakfast tricky as a single person. Very busy. Waiters cleared away before finished eating last mouthful. Impersonal check-in. Little information about hotel - including where to find breakfast. Inadequate signage. Great location at Alexanderplatz.

Great location, right In Alexanderplatz square. Staff loving minus one lady at breakfast in spaggos who obviously didn't acknowledge we had already checked into breakfast (on two occasions) and proceeded to chase us down, shouting after us like we had done something wrong but it was their mistake. Rooms ok, toilet and bath quite dirty. Comfy beds, nice rooms but not sure they were an 'upgrade' this we were told

I stayed at the Park Inn for 3 nights, and my room on the 10th floor was excellent. Comfortable, with a very good mattress and an excellent shower! I did find the room a little too hot on arrival though, but it was simple to turn the temperature down to what I found more comfortable. I found the hotel staff friendly and helpful, and the price I paid for my stay was very reasonable. I would happily stay there again!

I booked a small single room for 5 nights and was very happy with it. It was quiet, well designed and very good value. Obviously, it is not a luxury hotel but it was comfortable and had all I needed. I didn't have breakfast there so can't comment. This hotel is so central. The U-Bahn station is right outside one of the two entrances and the U5 line takes you to many of the main sites. The S-Bahn is also very close, the S9 connects directly to the airport. It does get quite busy at times when large tour groups are there hence the 4 stars.

Breakfast had a great selection and very fresh. Room was nice and big but strange that the bathroom has no wall just a curtain however bathroom facilities was good. Bed comfort, could do with better pillows. Receptionist and other staff are polite and helpful. Great location, train, buses and tram on doorstep. Have a great christmas market on the doorstep and one within 6mins but only at christmas time. Great range of food places, restaurants and bars all within 10mins.

Perfect place to stay for a few nights. The service is great, as well as the rooms. I wouldn’t call it super clean, but nevertheless everything is looking great. Every time I go to Berlin I book exactly this hotel. Affordable prices that suit your expectations. Some of the rooms have the best view of TV tower. Right in the city center, five minutes to every place you’d want to visit, U-Bahn and S-Bahn are very close. Great experience!
